“It ain’t what you know that gets you in trouble, it’s what you know for sure that ain’t so” – Mark Twain
Global warming is a serious issue with potentially fatal consequences. Even when presented with the realities of the situation, most people consider their individual contributions to be insignificant. Quite simply, if people are not directly affected by climate change they will remain unmotivated to alter their behaviors.
The presentation of such a complex and controversial topic presents an incredible challenge for graphic designers. Only a multifaceted design can be both informative and stimulating for the audience.I encourage my audience to rethink their role in this time of global crisis by offering perspective through personal stories and bold imagery that demonstrates the reality of this issue. Through innovative design, I engage the audience in the hopes of instilling change towards a more sustainable future.
