The Dorchester Running Club ran the 2015 Boston Marathon in support of MECP2 Duplication Syndrome Research. MECP2 Duplication Syndrome is a condition that impacts young boys, including a local 2-year old Austin Bernazzani, and is characterized by moderate to severe intellectual disability, weak muscle tone in infancy, feeding difficulties, poor or absent speech, seizures, and muscle stiffness.
I was honored to design an identity for this cause. An event was held on March 21, 2015 where we successfully raised $26,745. Click here for more information on MECP2 Duplication Syndrome Research.
